ok at the moment i’m laughing.. because im going to comment on this wowowee show… first off, I may sound like i like Eat Bulaga more because… I do.(hihih) I hate wowowee coz I really find willie so phony…so plastic he just doesn’t seem to be the right person doing all those helping, its like opposite to what he really is. (that’s just my opinion) I just can’t put together him and all his dramatic crying minus the tears and trying to explain all that he is, that even if he’s sick he still goes to work blah blah blah and all that crap. And one thing that I don’t like about his show is the way he makes fun of people… PLUS everytime i see his face flash on tv I cant help but think of the word PERVERT… I have to admit though, I admire his mental strength everytime he’s flanked with skimpy clad girls on his show.. "Oh Look ma no hard on!!!!" nuf said bye!

few days back a friend of mine forwarded a link telling me to read the article about a so-called diva. this diva tells about her travels to Greece and how during her Emirates flight she was with OFW’s and complaining that she would rather slit her wrist then be with OFW’s and that it was like being in a God made hell… i attached the page, just click it you read and you judge… (well hope you can all view it.)
I don’t know about you, but after reading it I was outraged at the woman because she was just so mean, more like a pig really and that a magazine would print an article with racial comments on a Philippine Magazine (People Asia to be exact), it’s like putting down the very people that in the first place is keeping this nation afloat. I felt sorry for the OFW’s on the plane that they unknowingly were to be ridiculed and could not even defend themselves, that they weren’t even doing anything bad to her could get such nasty comments and I felt really sorry that this people leave their love ones behind to go to a place where they are uncertain on what awaits them , their nights of crying on missing their parents, husbands, children… somehow it just wasn’t right. And to top everything else the woman "bitch wannabe" had the audacity to publish another article to answer those that have commented to her stupidity… here are some excerpts
“…Just recently, I wrote a funny article in my magazine column and
my friends thought it was hilarious. It was humorous and quite
tongue-in-cheek, or at least I thought so, until the magazine got a few
e-mails from people who didn’t get the meaning of my acerbic wit. The
bottom line was just that I had offended the reader’s socioeconomic
background. If any of these people actually read anything thicker then a magazine they would find it very funny.
Most people don’t get the fact that they need bitches like me to shake
up their world, otherwise their lives would be boring and mediocre. I
obviously write for the a certain target audience and if what I write
offends you, just stop reading.
Although it may sound elitist to you the fact is this country is
built on the foundation of haves, have-nots and wannabes. One group
will never get the culture of the other. Although I could mention that
it is easier to understand someone who has a lower socioeconomic
background that would entail a whole other page and frankly I don’t
want to be someone to bridge the gap between socioeconomic classes. I
leave that to the politicians in my family who believe they can
actually help. Now I seriously ask you, am I being a diva or are people
around me just lacking in common sense? Perhaps it’s a little of both!”
yes, i see that Ms Fernandez do has a point on what she was blabbing about on the early part of that column and maybe she does may sense on some of her writings but on the OFW thing, I just didn’t find it funny at all?
Everybody of us at one time or another may had made fun of certain persons, I myself am guilty but i keep it to my friends alone and try not to make placards to announce it. (well not if the person really deserved it hihihi kidding) or on her case write an article about it. But really why isnt she punished? Doesn’t she deserve to feel sorry at least for what she did? I remember years back an american artist made a "Ghastly" comment about the Philippines (Yes Clair Danes) and a lot of people even some government officials were outraged by that comment. well coming from someone who only spent I guess a little time in our country and spent it on the not so nice places (particularly at the jail where she was shooting a movie) I wasn’t really that shook up. But coming from someone who’s a fellow Filipino (not that shes proud to be one) it’s another thing. She really deserves to be punished or at least issue a public apology for the racial comments she made, and much more that shes connected to politicians and influential people (as she says).(Actually I think this woman deserves to be featured in IMBESTIGADOR or JESSICA SOHO or XxX really, to make everyone aware that just because you belong to the alta-sociodad doesn’t mean that you have the right to make fun of anybody you choose to. It’s not right.
She says she’s a bitch…I don’t think so, being a bitch bitch one should have finesse. (oh darn! id better check my blogs in case i did a Diva # 2)
ADD: as of this writing i recently just found out that Miss Piggy was in the news…WAHIHIHIHIHI serves her right. PLUS she was axed from the Magazine and in Manila Standard. And yes she did apologize. I hope nobody hires her again… She reminds me of Dolores Umbridge.

I finished reading Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows weeks ago…and was planning of writing about it but i just couldn’t bring myself to it… I guess I was letting the feeling that this is the LAST potter book sink it. I feel sad but at the same time kind of relieved that finally the end of all the waiting. Still…it’s no more Harry, Ron & Hermione and all the other characters Ive loved. But that was a good ending though and any time now ill read the book again.
